Okay the controls are not broken, they are perfect for the horror survival genre, BUT with that being said (hear me out) Resident Evil 5 isn't Horror Survival, it's Action Survival and that's where the problem is.
The game went from solitary single-player horror survival game to action packed pseudo zombie-esqe villains filling the screen with little to none cramped space.
